About The Bishop

A man of eminent honor and distinguished integrity is presently the Bishop of Penuel Pentecostal Tabernacle (PPT), Bishop A.R. Hibbert Sr. Bishop Hibbert initiated and pioneered this established church of thirty (30) years in the Town of Newburgh, New York.

PPT is an affiliate of the United Pentecostal Church International.

 

His Ministry has taken him around the world to various Lands of  ninety  (90) countries, including, but not limited to, Europe, Asia, Africa, China, Seoul, Republic of Korea, and India.
A man of vision, Bishop A.R. Hibbert Sr. has been revered locally, nationally and internationally as a dynamic man of leadership, integrity, and strength. In addition to his commitment to Penuel Pentecostal Tabernacle as Bishop, Rev. A.R. Hibbert Sr. has also served as a member or director on various boards, including Sectional Youth Director for NYC and NYS, District Youth Secretary for the State of NY.
Designated Civilian Chaplain at Stewart Air Force Base. Member of the Newburgh Drug Task Force, and Sunday School Director 14 years for the State of N.Y. Serving as---
A former employee with ten (10) years of service to Cahill Garden, a prominent law firm on Wall Street, New York City.
Youth director for New York City serving a three years term in 1981.
Selected as Youth Secretary for the State of New York in 1985 through 1990
Designated Civilian Chaplain at Stewart Air Force Base in Newburgh, NY also in 1985 to 1990
Member of the Newburgh Drug Task Force, Newburgh, NY.
Magnet School Policy Advisory Council mid-1980s to early 1990s. Newburgh NY.
Sunday School Director for the State of New York under the United Pentecostal Church International and member of New York State District Board.

Served as Global Mission Director (UPCI) for New York State for 8 years. Received excellent service award in May, 2013. Re-elected in 2015 to serve as Global Mission Director for New York Global Mission.

Honored with Ministry Milestone certificate of appreciation for 35 years of service and association with the United Pentecostal Church International in May 2015.

Bishop Hibbert is currently Member of the West Point officers Club, Highland New York.
